Their work is careful and precise, just as the name of their company suggests. In fact, I have used Precision Tile three times over a period of about three years and each time I have been very happy with their work. When they are finished, it is hard to imagine how the job could have been improved. They are prompt and not like many contractors who say they will come at one time but come later. They pre-lay out the tiles to achieve optimal matching, do much of the work off sight, always clean up the work site after each days' work, and even go a step further and suggest better ways of doing things than I or my general contractor had considered. Bernd and Terry are real professionals.

The plumber who came to our house flooded the bathroom, the gentleman who fixed our oven had to come back in two weeks, the electrician left cans hanging from our ceiling but Precision Tile, these guys were perfect. They tiled our kitchen and two bathrooms, beautifully. The jobs came in at bid, on time, every night the space was cleaned up and our home was respected. Anybody can throw down some tile but that's not what we are talking about here, these guys are artists. They genuinely cared about our job and it shows. I call them Perfection Tile and I wish I could call them for every job we need in our home!

I hired Bernd and Terry, the owner-installers of Precision Tile, to tile my master bathroom which is now the most beautiful room in the house! They were highly recommended by my contractor who swore they were the best around. From the very beginning, I found both Bernd and Terry to be excellent communicators and very respectful of me, my home and my space. We chose natural stone, and they spent much time laying out each piece, turning and moving them in a pattern to find the most pleasing layout. We also had them add a heated sub-floor and custom shower with tricky half-walls with glass which was to be installed later. The whole process took less than a week, and the final result is absolutely stunning and perfectly functioning with just the right slopes for proper drainage. I would hire Precision Tile again in a heartbeat, and will recommend them to all of my friends.

We had Precision Tile do a custom bath and shower for us in Aptos, CA. Bernd was easy to work with and very helpful, working with my wife and I to find the best marble for our bathroom, even gave us advice about the fixtures. (we went with Grohe). The guy is very conscientious, and does excellent work, from the waterproofing under the custom shower pan, to the special treatment around the window. We had a custom pattern in the floor of the shower and every cut was exact and the job came out beautiful: two shower heads, custom inlay colored glass tiles, really nice! Even having to travel from Marin to the Santa Cruz area, he was prompt and within budget. I'd hire him again in a second, can't say enough good things about the company. Steve R.
